Two-dimensional advection-dispersion equation with depth- dependent variable source concentration
The present work solves two-dimensional Advection-Dispersion Equation (ADE) in a semi-infinite domain. A variable source concentration is regarded as the monotonic decreasing function at the source boundary (x=0). Depth-dependent variables are considered to incorporate real life situations in this modeling study, with zero flux condition assumed to occur at the exit boundary of the domain, i.e....
متن کاملExtraction of Frequency Dependent Transmission Line Parameters Using TDIUTDT Measurements
This paper discusses a method for extracting the frequency dependent parameters of lossy bransmission lines from TDtUTDT measurements. These parameters were extracted for stripline structures in printed wiring boards. Using short -thru calibration, the transmission line parameters were extracted using a combination of time windowing and rational functions.
متن کاملA Frequency-Dependent Transmission-Line Simulator Using S- Parameters
In this study an efficient approach is presented for the transient simulation of lossy, frequency-dependent multiconductor transmission lines. The method is based on the approximation of the modal scattering parameters of the system. Rational function approximation and recursive convolution are used to generate the time-domain stamps of the multiconductor system

متن کاملEstimating Depth from Line Drawings
Our goal is unassisted machine interpretation of a single line drawing of an engineering object (with hidden lines removed) as a B-rep model. As part of this process, we seek to deduce a frontal geometry of the object, a 3D geometric realisation of that part of the object visible in the drawing. Inflation takes a drawing in which all lines have been line-labelled, and creates the frontal geomet...
